'Town Cryer' and 'Human Hands' by Elvis Costello are two of my favourite songs. And the Carpenter's 'Rainy Days and Mondays' is everything a pop song should be.
Together they make a great Art Lounge set.
These recordings are centred around a phone app recording of piano and lead vocals in a single improvisation. The other sounds were layered on top. The percussion was sampled from the incidental sounds in the studio caught while recording.
